Growing up, my parents put me into a variety of sports but tennis and hockey were my two favourites. I started to play tennis seriously in grade 9 and kept improving each year which was a great outlet for my competitiveness.
My CrossFit journey started in 2019 when my friend convinced me to do the Open, and I quickly grew a love hate relationship with wallballs, rowing and double unders. The difficulty of (and my inability to do) high skill movements like double unders and muscle ups was very intriguing to me. In late 2020 I began taking classes at PSC & immediately loved the community and programming. I’m overjoyed to have to opportunity to coach here at PSC and help people like myself continue their own CrossFit journey.
